Tom Mascioli

We were saddened to learn that our classmate Tom Mascioli passed away on 27 October 2023. Included below is the obituary provided on 9 November 2023 by the EA Alumni Department.

Thomas Camillo Mascioli

July 5, 1954 – October 27, 2023

Thomas C. "Thomas" Mascioli '72 , a passionate Episcopal Academy alumnus, devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 27th, 2023 from a brief, but aggressive form of cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family. In addition to his wife Joann, Tom is survived by his sons, Mario, and Nick and his daughter-in-law Laura and grandchildren James (age 7) and Tommy (age 6 months). Tom is also survived by his sister Maria (EA Parent '09), his brothers Mario (EA '78), Bob (EA '86) and his nephews and niece Adam Charlton (EA '09), Ben Mascioli (EA '10) and Faith Mascioli (EA '12).

A celebration of Tom's life to be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at Calvary Chapel of Delaware County, 500 Brandywine Drive, Chadds Ford, PA 19317 www.ccdelco.com. Contributions in his memory may be made to Greenhouse Project, www.ghproject.org/vision, an organization whose mission is dear to the Tom's heart. Tom loved EA and Philadelphia sports. He was a multi-sport athlete at EA lettering in basketball and soccer, receiving All-Inter Ac acclaim in both sports.

For the memorial service. please wear EA or Philadelphia sports gear. Tom's EA family members will be attending the service sporting their EA apparel and attending EA Haverford Day following the memorial service as Tom would want them to do.
